We began the day with MATH probelm solving. Ask your child about the fruit basket problem and how they solved it.
We met up with our buddies for some basic facts practice.
We also had a thoughtful discussion about healthy food using provided sentence stems to practice our communication skills.
Lastly, we finished our simple machine projects. We plan on sharing them with our grade 1 buddies to practice our presentation skills. Areas for assessment will include: naming the simple machines, explaining the load, effort, force and friction in the device, as well as practical applications of the simple machines.
